1. What is Boost Hypnosis?

Boost Hypnosis provides an online services allowing its users to find out information on the uses of hypnosis to help resolve common non-medical issues, to book video calls known as Sessions or Consultations, hereafter referred to as (“Services”), to download and access online courses, audio and video downloads, hereafter referred to as “Products”. 

Boost Hypnosis acts as a data controller in its use of your personal data, as described in this privacy policy.

2. What data do we collect?

2.1.  Information for the booking and running of strategy sessions or sessions.

If you book a “Services” through this website, we will collect some data in order to process your enquiry and requirements. 

Registration information may include:

your name, telephone number and email address, details concerning your motivation to use our Service, whether you are under-going or have undergone treatment for certain medical or psychological conditions.  For the booking of “Services” . 2.2. Information for marketing purposes

Information may include: email address, name, topic interests

Users of this website can voluntarily opt-in to receive marketing emails and may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in each email. We use a third-party provider to provide our email marketing service called MailerLite, whose data storage service is in Lithuania and meets the requirements of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).  MailerLite will not sell any data to a third party. Boost Hypnosis does not knowingly collect or process personal data from users under 18 years old, unless written parental permission has been received.

We use the data that you provide to us when you book "Services", or voluntarily opt-in to receive marketing information.  

  • to provide you with the Services that you request from us in accordance with our obligations under any agreement entered into with you;
  • to communicate with you in the event that any services requested are unavailable or if there is a query or problem with your session;
  • for record keeping purposes;
  • to take payment for the you purchase of Services via the Session Booking System; and
  • to notify you about changes to our Services. to improve our Services through feedback surveys, website and email activity;
  • For legitimate interest, including marketing of our own services to you; We may also use and disclose your personal data in the following circumstances: compliance with legal obligations, or protection and enforcement of legal rights; and/or to detect or prevent fraudulent activity.

4. Sharing your data

Boost Hypnosis will never sell information that can be used to personally identify you to a third party.

By using our "Services", you supply on a voluntary basis the requested data necessary for the execution of our Services through the agreement we have with you, via our third-party providers listed in section 3, without such data our "Services" are not possible. 

Where we are legally required to do so, we will also share your information with any authority to prevent cyber crime or fraud.

5. Payment Data

Payment processing services are provided by Stripe Inc. The details you provide to us via  Acuity Scheduling are passed directly to Stripe Inc and will be subject to its terms of use and privacy policy by the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, available at https://stripe.com/connect/account-terms.

By inputting payment card details, you are consenting to use of the payment card details by Stripe Inc for the purpose of paying for your order.

If you have any questions relating to these services please contact Stripe Inc. For avoidance of doubt, if any payment you initiate using the "Services" does not successfully complete, the payee reserves the right to seek payment from you via or outside the Service.

Any authorisation you provide to make repeating automatic payments using the Service will remain in effect until cancelled. You must have appropriate authority to use the payment card that you use for payment.

Boost Hypnosis does not store any of your payment card details on its systems.

6. Storage and security of your personal data

Your personal data is stored in electronic records by Boost Hypnosis in Belgium. 

The security of all personally identifiable information associated with you is taken very seriously and all data supplied is treated confidentially. We therefore have several security measures in place to try to protect against the loss, unauthorised use and corruption of any personal data that is under our control. We review our security and privacy policies regularly and improve them where it is reasonably possible to do so. We do not guarantee that loss, unauthorised use, corruption and/or alteration of information will never occur, but we use all reasonable efforts to prevent it.

Please note that the input of data over the internet is never fully secure. We cannot, therefore, guarantee the security of data you submit via the Website in transit over the internet and any such submission is at entirely your own risk.

We run our applications in HTTPS secure mode and all textual, audio and video information is encrypted.
