Hypnosis is an ideal way to take back control of what seems uncontrollable.  My approach combines hypnosis, thought experiments, games, breathing exercises and discussion to help create long lasting change and build valuable skills that can you help overcome future challenges. 

What is anxiety? It's really an umbrella term for many different conditions. Keeping it simple, anxiety is your body's natural response to stress and percieved threats in our environment. 

You may feel as if you can't control it, or it's just happening by itself. Common symptoms can include increased sweating, feeling faint, panic, tightness, breathing difficulties and skin problems.  

However, as humans we can naturally train the mind to adjust the response, and hypnosis helps you do that quickly and easily.

    Yes - for many people, the use of hypnosis can be greatly beneficial to get to the root of the issue so that you can begin to live a normal life. 
  • How many hypnosis sessions are needed for anxiety?

A large scale study finds hypnosis is a highly effective intervention for anxiety

Our results indicate the average participant treated with hypnosis achieved more anxiety reduction than about 79% of control participants at the end of active treatment and about 84% of controls at the longest follow-up.

A cost-effective, non-addictive and safe alternative 

Self-hypnosis training represents a rapid, cost-effective, nonaddictive and safe alternative to medication for the treatment of anxiety-related conditions.

The tremendous volume of research provides compelling evidence that hypnosis is an efficacious treatment for state anxiety (e.g., prior to testssurgery and medical procedures) and anxiety-related disorders, such as headaches and irritable bowel syndrome.

Hypnosis for panic attacks

Results showed an increased sense of control, improved self-concept, elimination of pathological symptoms, and cessation of panic attacks.

Test anxiety for medical students

The present study demonstrated that medical students can benefit markedly from medical hypnosis used as a tool to mitigate test anxiety. The findings obtained indicate a positive influence on test anxiety in general

Pre-surgical anxiety

Pre-surgical preparation: Hypnosis session prior to surgery was an effective complementary method in decreasing presurgical anxiety, and it resulted in better pain control as well as reduced ventilator assistance following CABG surgery.
