Overcoming Anxiety

I speak to many people just like you, who want to overcome unwanted anxiety and behaviour. Anxiety covers many different things and is a big umbrella, here's just a few:

  • Social anxiety
  • Performance anxiety
  • Panic attacks
  • Difficulty sleeping
  • Compulsions
  • Nail biting
  • Agoraphobia
  • Generalised anxiety
  • Driving anxiety
  • Vaccination anxiety
  • Hair pulling, teeth grinding
  • and more

Imagine being calmer, living life to the full, with the people and things that matter to you.

Many other options out there are focused on correcting symptoms or analysis of the problem at a conscious level. We know that this can work, but for many the time and process involved is not for everyone.

Studies show that 95% of our habits and behaviours are determined unconsciously.

It's why my method which combines advanced hypnosis and mind-body techniques help to reprogramme your mind at an unconscious level. It doesn't mean you won't be aware, infact you'll know it's working because we test throughout the process.

It also means, you can notice changes right from the first session, and begin moving towards that brighter future, whether it be better intimate relationships, getting a promotion or simply being yourself again.

Getting Started

You probably have a ton of questions. I know I do. We start things off with a free strategy call, to help you see if this is the right choice.

What The Research Says

How effective is hypnosis for anxiety? Here's what the research says:

A large scale study finds hypnosis is a highly effective intervention for anxiety.

"Our results indicate the average participant treated with hypnosis achieved more anxiety reduction than about 79% of control participants at the end of active treatment and about 84% of controls at the longest follow-up. "

Hypnosis is effective for stopping panic attacks

Results showed an increased sense of control, improved self-concept, elimination of pathological symptoms, and cessation of panic attacks.

Hypnosis is effective for reducing test anxiety

"10 of the 11 practitioners recorded passes, whereas on the second, 9 indicated an attitude change toward lower levels of test anxiety. Attention is drawn to the minimal expenditure of time involved in the treatment and the generalizability of the hypnotherapeutic technique to other areas of the practitioners' lives."

Hypnosis can provide better quality of life in terminally ill cancer patients.

Results demonstrated that at the end of intervention patients in the hypnosis group had significantly better overall quality of life and lower levels of anxiety and depression when compared to the standard care group. It is concluded that hypnosis is effective in the enhancement of quality of life in terminally ill cancer patients. An effective complementary method for decreasing pre-surgical anxiety

Pre-surgical preparation: Hypnosis session prior to surgery was an effective complementary method in decreasing presurgical anxiety, and it resulted in better pain control as well as reduced ventilator assistance following CABG surgery.

A cost-effective, non-addictive and safe alternative

Self-hypnosis training represents a rapid, cost-effective, nonaddictive and safe alternative to medication for the treatment of anxiety-related conditions. The tremendous volume of research provides compelling evidence that hypnosis is an efficacious treatment for state anxiety (e.g., prior to tests, surgery and medical procedures) and anxiety-related disorders, such as headaches and irritable bowel syndrome.
